Pallets are still as popular as ever and are used for a variety of purposes. They make strong bases for beds and seating.. They are incorporated in to industrial style coffee tables and work spaces. They make for a sturdy vertical garden. Remnants of dismantled pallets can be found hanging on walls in the form of signage and shelving. In some instances, the wall itself is made entirely of pallets.
What makes pallets so alluring to those who love them? We know they are useful but really, they are not all that attractive. Is it that they are readily available and free? Is it the physical struggle in tearing them apart and the feeling like you just had a major workout? Or does the ugly pallet challenge our creativity? I have a stack of them so there is something up. Please find below, another pallet project, my Pallet Christmas Tree tutorial.
